Position Description:
The University of Iowa Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting BC/BE gastroenterologists for an expanding division comprised of academic MD faculty with broad clinical and research interests. The Division is seeking faculty members for appointment on the Clinical or Tenure Track at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank, depending on qualifications. Successful candidates will become part of a strong and well-established GI program.

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related releasee and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.

Education Requirement:
Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates need to show demonstrated outstanding abilities and skills in teaching and clinical medicine.

This position also requires completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program or equivalent successful completion of a residency program.

Certifications:
BC/BE gastroenterologist
