Job Title: Director of Distribution & Fulfillment

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Distribution & Fulfillment to oversee end-to-end operations across multiple facilities in the U.S. and Canada. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency inventory accuracy on-time order fulfillment and overall profitability. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership strategic planning and hands-on experience in high-volume distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage distribution and fulfillment operations across four facilities
  
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company goals
  
• Oversee inventory management forecasting and order fulfillment processes
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and profitability
  
• Establish and monitor KPIs including quality on-time delivery and cost control
  
• Manage operating and capital budgets for distribution operations
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients vendors and stakeholders
  
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales Customer Service IT and HR
  
• Lead hiring training and development of operational teams
  
• Provide leadership coaching and succession planning for team members
  
• Oversee warehouse operations shipping invoicing and container tracking
  
• Report on performance metrics financial results and operational forecasts
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  
• 7 years of experience in distribution fulfillment or supply chain leadership
  
• Experience in high-volume fast-paced distribution environments
  
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and analyze performance
  
• Proven leadership and team management experience (1013 direct reports)
  
• Strong project management and process improvement skills
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word); AS400 experience is a plus
  
• 50%75% travel required
  
• Availability for nights and weekends during peak seasons
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
  
• Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills
