The Opportunity

The Director of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) provides strategic and operational leadership for the medical equipment management program.

This is not an IT role.
This position oversees the department responsible for medical equipment, clinical devices, and biomedical engineering services.

You will play a key leadership role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient healthcare technology operations while aligning local programs with corporate HTM strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the corporate HTM (Healthcare Technology Management) program
  • Establish short- and long-term strategic goals for the HTM department
  • Oversee medical device integration, lifecycle planning, and technology assessments
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and exceed healthcare technology management standards
  • Manage operations, risk analysis, device security, and reporting requirements
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contract management, and fiduciary responsibilities
  • Develop and execute KPIs to drive performance and accountability
  • Build, mentor, and motivate the HTM team
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to strengthen clinical and operational partnerships

What We’re Looking For

Education

  • Technical School certification or Associate’s Degree required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience

  • 5–8 years of progressive healthcare technology management experience
  • Proven leadership experience within a Biomed/HTM environment
  • Healthcare facility experience strongly preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong background in HTM programs and medical equipment management
  • Experience with CMMS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards related to healthcare technology
