Job Title: Class A Local Intermodal Driver – Home Daily (Chicago, IL)
We are hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for a local intermodal position based in Chicago, IL. This is a home-daily opportunity offering steady freight, consistent schedules, and competitive weekly earnings averaging $1,200.
Drivers will run regional routes across Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana, with a strong focus on drop-and-hook freight and no-touch loads. This position offers flexible scheduling with both Tuesday–Saturday and Sunday–Thursday options, plus the opportunity for a 6th workday while remaining compliant with hours-of-service regulations.
Night shift hours typically run from 7 PM to 4 AM, with additional pay incentives including $0.06 CPM for nights and $0.12 CPM for weekends, plus $20 per load.
Requirements include a minimum of 6 months of CDL-A experience and residence within 25 miles of ZIP code 60608.
