We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes.

Position Details

We are currently looking for a Japanese teacher for one of our clients in Columbus, OH.

Course Type: General Format: three-to-one
Total Hours: 30
Session length: 2-hour weekly lessons (three 40-minute sessions back-to-back)
Location: at the student's home in Lewis Center, OH 43035
Students Age Group: 9, 10 & 13 y/o girls (respectively)
Student Level: Beginner, Elementary & Pre-Intermediate
Schedule: 2-hour weekly lessons (three 40-minute sessions back-to-back)
Saturday between 12:30pm-3:30pm or 9:30am-12:30pm, Friday or Sunday between 4:30pm-7:30pm.
Start Date: as soon as possible
Motivation: Japanese is a heritage language for our girls, to be able to communicate with relatives in Japan.

Ideal Candidate

Be a native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
Have a valid work permit/visa
Live within 20 miles of the specified location

Conditions

Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
Freelance, part-time position
We are not able to sponsor visas
