Landscape Laborer (Anchorage, AK) — $23–$29/hr DOE
Position Overview
We are hiring  Landscape Laborers with at least one season of  Alaska landscaping experience .
This is a seasonal position running from early May through approximately November 15. High-performing candidates may have the opportunity to transition into  winter operations depending on experience and reliability.
Pay ranges from $23–$29 per hour depending on experience, skill level, and references.
We are hiring at  multiple experience levels —entry-level candidates meeting minimum requirements will start at the lower end of the scale, while more experienced crew members and foreman-level candidates will be compensated toward the top.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in  topsoil installation, plant and tree installation, retaining walls, and fencing , and is also willing to perform general labor tasks to keep projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities
Landscape Work

• Install topsoil and perform rough/final grading
• Install plants, trees, and shrubs
• Assist with or build retaining walls and fences
• Support layout and execution of landscape projects
• Assist with operating equipment such as  skid steers and bobcats (experience preferred)

• Site preparation, digging, grading, and cleanup
• Load, unload, and stage materials
• Assist crew members to keep jobs on schedule
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Pick up materials and supplies from vendors as needed (driver’s license preferred)

• Minimum  one season of Alaska landscaping experience (required)
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Topsoil installation / grading
  • Plant and tree installation
  • Retaining walls / hardscape
  • Fencing
• Experience operating  skid steers / bobcats (preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Relevant work history and references strongly preferred

• Have reliable transportation

• Willing to learn and follow direction
