Salary: $79,040 - 83,200 per year Requirements:

• We require 2+ years of overall IT experience.
• We require at least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Java developer.
• We are looking for strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• We value experience contributing to software development efforts from design through support.
• We expect candidates to be open to occasional travel to Richmond, VA or Atlanta, GA as needed.

• We design, build, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications.
• We participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and solution design.
• We join design discussions and analyze user needs to translate them into technical specifications.
• We collaborate with end users to prototype, refine, test, and troubleshoot programs so they meet business needs.
• We create technical documentation and specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements.
• We serve as a technical resource on development initiatives.
• We evaluate emerging technologies for potential use in our solutions.
• We help reduce project risk, support mitigation planning, and keep work on schedule.
• We manage user requirements and provide timely updates on project status.
• We review code to identify defects, determine root causes, and make necessary revisions.

We are hiring a Remote Jr. Java Developer for a remote opportunity with occasional travel to Richmond, VA or Atlanta, GA as needed, potentially once a month or once a quarter. This role offers an hourly W2 range of $38 to $40, with final compensation determined through a comprehensive review of skills, experience, education, and market factors.
