Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Verification in Patchogue NY this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at an educational location.
• Monitor entrances check identification and/or credentials manage visitor access and report unusual activity to help support authorized entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents policy concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting campus representatives and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings common areas and the perimeter to help identify access concerns unsecured entry points and/or other security-related issues.
• Maintain accurate activity logs visitor records and incident documentation and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
