Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Storekeeper to join a fast-paced warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse experience, exceptional inventory management skills, expertise in warehouse organization and optimization, and proficiency with SAP.

 

Job Description

  • Execute product and material handling activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Receive, inspect, label, store, pick, pack, issue, dispose of, and perform cycle counts of inventory items.
  • Verify incoming supplier deliveries against packing lists and purchase orders, ensuring materials are received in satisfactory condition and reporting discrepancies promptly.
  • Process material requests and fulfill inventory requirements accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring products are properly packaged and accompanied by complete and accurate documentation.
  • Optimize warehouse bin locations and storage layouts to improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits.
  • Support kitting, Kanban replenishment programs, and other materials management initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and warehouse-related issues as directed by management.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment following successful completion of required training and certification.
  • Perform additional warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned.
  • Shift: 1st Shift Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

S kills Required

  • Significant warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience with warehouse organization, inventory control, and process optimization.
  • Strong SAP experience, including inventory and warehouse management transactions.
  • Knowledge of receiving, shipping, material handling, and inventory management best practices.
  • Experience conducting cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience implementing warehouse efficiency improvements.
  • Familiarity with Kanban, kitting, and lean inventory management practices.
  • Strong analytical skills for investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.

 

Education

  • Highschool diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $19 - $22 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
