Position Title: Strategic Communications & Engagement SME

Location: Chantilly, VA

Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility

U.S. Citizenship required

OMNI Consulting Solutions is seeking a Strategic Communications & Engagement Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide executive‑level communications, stakeholder engagement, organizational messaging, and leadership support to the Space-Based Sensing and Targeting (SBST) Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Office. This role requires exceptional communication acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate confidently in high‑visibility headquarters environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft written and visual communication materials tailored to diverse internal and external audiences.

• Develop communication plans in coordination with leadership and internal stakeholders.

• Prepare executive briefings, talking points, reports, presentations, and messaging products.

• Assemble, review, and provide guidance on electronic Staff Summary Sheet (SSS) packages.

• Communicate effectively with offices and stakeholders across all leadership levels.

• Support Program Management Reviews, All Calls, senior‑leader meetings, and other high‑level engagements.

• Advise leadership on the status of communication products, deliverables, and engagement actions.

• Coordinate cross‑functional communication activities among government, military, contractor, and mission partner organizations.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

• 15+ years of experience supporting Federal Government acquisition organizations.

• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, high‑visibility environments.

Desired Qualifications

• At least 5 years of recent experience supporting space programs.

• Experience supporting U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, NRO, SDA, or other national security space organizations.

• Experience supporting senior executives, Program Executive Officers (PEOs), or headquarters‑level environments.
