Job Description
The Hardware Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronic assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), and multi-node server components down to the component level. You will work directly with advanced AI infrastructure platforms, high-performance computing (HPC) setups, and data center hardware, playing a critical role in minimizing production bottlenecks and upholding strict quality control standards

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Analyze, test, and diagnose failures in server hardware, storage arrays, networking switches, and complex AI processing nodes down to the component or board level.
- Component-Level Repair: Perform precision soldering, rework, and ECO (Engineering Change Order) modifications on high-density PCBAs, including BGA, QFN, and fine-pitch surface-mount technology (SMT) components.
- Hardware Validation: Utilize specialized test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and automated test fixtures) to validate repairs and ensure compliance with factory specifications.
- Firmware & Software Flash: Configure, update, and flash BIOS, BMC, and platform-specific firmware required for proper hardware operation.
- Documentation & Tracking: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all failure modes, root-cause analyses, components used, and repair actions within our manufacturing execution system (MES).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality Control, Failure Analysis (FA), and Manufacturing Engineering teams to identify recurring hardware defects and implement continuous process improvements.
