Job Description

LEI Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator/Welder to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our fabrication shop, you will work with steel and aluminum to build, repair, and modify equipment that supports our operations year-round, including during winter storms. Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, cut, fit, and assemble steel and aluminum components according to specifications
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum materials
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications
  • Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, plasma cutters, and other shop tools
  • Repair and modify equipment as needed to support ongoing operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs as required
  • Be available to work extended hours during winter storms to support snow and ice operations

Qualifications

  • Experience fabricating and welding steel and aluminum
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and fit materials
  • Mechanical knowledge and equipment repair experience preferred
  • Proficient in safely operating fabrication and welding equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license required
