Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup of banquet rooms and event spaces including arranging tables chairs linens place settings and decorations according to event specifications.
• Ensure that all necessary equipment utensils and silverware are clean polished and properly arranged and that audiovisual equipment and lighting are set up and operational.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival escort them to their assigned tables and provide assistance with seating as needed.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests using suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items or upgrades.
• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately following established service standards and presentation guidelines.
• Anticipate guests needs and preferences and provide personalized service and attention to ensure a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries requests and concerns and resolve any issues or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Clear tables remove used dishes and utensils and replenish supplies as needed throughout the event to ensure a clean and orderly dining environment.
• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks including removing linens folding chairs and dismantling decorations.
• Complete post-event cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in banquet areas.

Skills Required

• Provide high-level customer service communicate effectively with guests and team members follow instructions ability to learn quickly pay attention to detail and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Experience / Education

• Serving and or set up experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol per state law.
