What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents student and staff concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings walkways parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity across the location offering directions and support to students faculty staff and visitors while documenting security-related issues.
• Complete routine reports and communicate with campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents maintenance concerns and/or policy-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
